Mission

When you do what you love, life feels lighter, more joyful, and fulfilling. But pain—whether physical or emotional—can hold you back. I believe the body and mind are deeply connected, and true healing comes from honoring both. My mission is to work with your body and nervous system to release tension, ease pain, and restore balance, so you can return to the life you love with greater freedom and resilience.

About me

Hi! I’m Jamie Berlant, and I started Active Recovery Massage after years of training self-defense and mixed martial arts, including Krav Maga, Muay Thai, and Jiu Jitsu. Over the past nine years, my training has come with its share of injuries, challenges, physical and emotional strain.

Through those experiences, I discovered just how powerful massage therapy can be—not only for relieving pain and enhancing performance, but also for supporting emotional well-being and long-term healing. It helped me stay in my practice and reconnect with my body on a deeper level.

Now, my goal is to share that same healing with others. Whether you're recovering from injury, managing stress, or simply trying to feel better in your body, I’m here to support your journey toward balance, strength, and renewal.
